Grown N DC was founded by the creators of the DC Growers Cup—an event that has helped shape the region’s cannabis culture for over a decade. What began as a community-driven competition became something bigger: a platform for education, innovation, and raising cultivation standards across the DMV.
Organized in 2015 following the passage of I-71, Grown NDC initially focused on teaching local residents how to grow high-quality cannabis organically and responsibly. Over time, that mission expanded into cultivating medical-grade cannabis products for DC’s rapidly growing legal market.
